Mistake Hunter does not collect, transmit, share, or sell personal data. This static website contains no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or server-side contact form.
1. Who we are
ZUTORS LTD is responsible for Mistake Hunter and this website. ZUTORS LTD is registered in England and Wales under company number 17275370. You can contact us at hello@zutors.site or +44 7732 194133.
2. Mistake Hunter data
Information stored on your device
Answers, challenge history, streaks, favourites, reminder time, and app settings are stored locally on your device. Mistake Hunter has no internet permission and makes no network requests. App backup is disabled, so this information is not uploaded to Android cloud backup by the app.
Accounts
There are no Mistake Hunter accounts. The app never asks you for a name, email address, or password.
Analytics, advertising, and purchases
The app contains no analytics, advertising, third-party tracking, billing, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
Permissions and notifications
Notification permission is requested only if you enable the optional daily reminder on Android 13 or later. Vibration permission supports optional local haptic feedback. Reminder scheduling and notifications are handled locally, and no reminder data leaves your device.
3. Website data
This website package does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or a server-side database. It does not set cookies. If you choose a light or dark colour theme, that preference is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. It is not transmitted to ZUTORS LTD. See our Cookie Policy.
The contact form prepares an email in your own email application. The website does not upload or store the form fields. If you send the email, your email provider transmits it to us and we receive the information you included.
4. Information you send to us
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the contact details and message you choose to provide so that we can respond, provide support, protect our services, or manage a business enquiry. Depending on the context, our lawful basis will normally be our legitimate interests in responding and operating our business, taking steps at your request before a contract, or compliance with a legal obligation.
Please do not send passwords, payment details, special-category information, or other sensitive personal information that is not necessary for your enquiry.
5. Sharing and international processing
We do not sell personal data. When you contact us, information may be processed by the providers that operate your email or telephone service and ours. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights, or to professional advisers who owe duties of confidentiality.
6. Retention
Mistake Hunter progress remains on your device until you reset it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. For direct enquiries, we keep correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain support records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
7. Deleting app data
“Reset progress” in Settings clears your challenge history, streaks, and daily-hunt record. Uninstalling the app removes its remaining local data, including favourites and preferences. You can also use Android system settings to clear all app storage.
8. Your data protection rights
Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you. Because Mistake Hunter does not transmit your app activity and has no accounts, ZUTORS LTD cannot access or identify the progress stored on your device.
To make a request about information you directly sent us, email hello@zutors.site. We may need enough information to confirm your identity. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your local data protection authority.
9. Children
Mistake Hunter is intended for teen and adult users aged 13 and over. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not transmit app data. If you believe a child has sent personal information directly to us, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information we handle. No method of electronic communication is completely secure, so avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
11. Changes to this policy
Material privacy changes will be described in an app update or reflected on this page. The effective date above shows when this policy took effect.
12. Contact
For privacy questions, contact ZUTORS LTD at hello@zutors.site or +44 7732 194133.
